Ca. 1850. "Muchoirs D'Instruction Militare No. 3 Cavalerie, manufacture de E. Renault a Rouen." White linen scarf with .5" red bordering and red trimmed circle within, measuring 20" in diameter. Single-sided scarf illustrated with sprightly cavalry figures, bugle call sheet music, and printed cavalry instructions in French. Lightly wrinkled, w/three tiny and unobtrusive stains. Bordering is slightly frayed on two sides. Else VG, and highly attractive.
