Brass body covered in leather measures 8 ¼ inches when closed. When extended the four brass sections measure approx. 22 ¾” inches.
Leather covering shows light wear all over. Brass has light patina with dark areas on inner sections. Brass on main section has darkened patina. Optics are not good.
Both leather lens caps are present. Caps show light to moderate crazing, especially at the edges. Maker’s mark on inner section reads, “E. VION, PARIS / POWER 40 TIMES / DOUBLE ACHROMATIC / P.J. O’HARE / NEWARK, N.J / MADE IN FRANCE”. [sl]
