Bowl meas. approx. 11.00 inches across and was most likely issued when Grant ran for President or upon his death. Bowl has a scalloped edge with a sunburst decoration around the rim.
At bottom center is a wonderful frosted bust of Grant in the uniform of a lieutenant general.
Around the sides of the bowl is a dot type lettering that reads “THE PATRIOT AND SOLDIER / GEN. ULYSSES S. GRANT.”
