These were typically carried by officers in the Civil War. Features front and back covers made of bone and four pages all riveted together at one end. Pages fan out for writing notes and reminders. Cover has white meatal shield shaped decoration and clasp that fully functions. Covers display small cracks. Pages are chip-free. Some pencil marks remain on pages.
