Small pocket knife dates from 1860’s through 1890’s. Brass casing meas. approx. 3.00 long. Both sides are stamped with “NEW YORK KNIFE CO.” at center and surrounded with a decoration of lines and dots. Thin iron blade meas. approx. 2.00 inches giving the knife a 5.00 inch length when opened. Both the brass and blade have some light wear. Blade appears to have been sharpened in the not too distant past.
