Treen is distinctively different than other pieces made from wood such as furniture or cabinetry in that it is a name for small handmade vintage household items. Top of shaker lifts off to fill with pepper.  Could be used for salt, as well. Measures 3 ½” tall x 1 ¾” at the base. Shaker is in in very good condition with no cracks in the wood, just some scuffing near the base. This would be a great addition to an antique kitchen collection.      [sm/ld]
