The H. (Henry) Milward company began in 1730 and would see 6 generations of Milwards by the turn of the 20^th century making it, at that time, one of the oldest manufacturing companies in Great Britain.  They would eventually become one of the best known needle manufacturing companies in Great Britain who’s bounds would extend overseas.  [mc] [ph:L]
