Scarce Abraham Lincoln – Hannibal Hamlin 1860 Campaign Ferrotype brass raised Campaign Button. Made for the Presidential and Vice-Presidential Campaign of 1860.
Round brass token one-inch diameter featuring a small “Gem” tin type of a clean-shaven image of Abraham Lincoln and Hamlin on the backside. Pierced with a small hole for attachment, stamped on Lincoln’s side “Abraham Lincoln 1860” backside “Hannibal Hamlin 1860” Lincoln image is sharp and clear. Hamlin’s is dark with image loss. [ws]
