Listed as one of the original “Anderson Troop” members, Harry died 2/15/63 at Hospital 19 in Nashville, TN of typhoid fever. He was only 22 years old. This 2/3 length seated view of Harry measures 6” x 8”. Hand tinted. Wears an enlistedman’s frock coat tinted blue. At his side on a table is his M1858 “Hardee” hat. Photographer’s mark on front, “BRIMER, No. 615 & 617 N. Second St. Phila.” ID is in period ink on reverse. Also on reverse is label of framer. Gold gilt frame. [ss]
