CDV is of the famed Matthew Brady image of Abraham Lincoln with his son Tad. The mount has a black border around the edges, which signifies that this was produced during the mourning period after Lincoln’s assassination.
Reverse is marked with the photographer’s imprint which reads, “A. BERGER, ARTIST, PHOTOGRAPH GALLERY, 285 FULTON STREET, BROOKLYN”.
Image is clear with good contrast. Surface has some light dirt from age.
Superb collectible for Lincoln and Lincoln assassination buffs.
