The subject of this image is jauntily posed sitting on a balustrade with one hand resting on his thigh and the other in his pocket. He wears a dark kepi with a “US” or “MS” within a wreath on the front of the crown, a dark loose fitting commercial sack coat with side pockets and captain of staff shoulder straps, matching dark trousers with thin light leg stripe, dark vest, white shirt and dark bowtie.
Contrast and clarity are very good. Mount has only slight edge dirt.
Reverse is blank except for a “FIG 13” in modern pencil. [ad]
