CDV is a full seated view of a Federal Private wearing a dark frock coat open to reveal his white shirt beneath. He also wears standard issue light trousers. Visible on both cuffs of the coat are dark, wide Veteran’s stripes.

Standing next to him, and resting one arm on his shoulder, is a woman wearing a dark colored dress with two dark horizontal stripes across the chest of the bodice.

Image has excellent clarity and contrast and is clean.

Reverse has photographer’s mark for J. T. WILSON & CO.…MOBILE, ALA.  [ad]
