Image shows a soldier standing by his wife who is seated. The soldier wears glasses which is something you don’t often see in period images. He also wears a dark frock coat and matching trousers. He has one button fastened about chest high which supports his hand that is tucked in his coat.
The seated woman wears a dark dress with brass buttons down the front and on the cuffs. The cuffs also have some piping.
Image has good clarity and contrast. Mount and paper are good.
Reverse is blank. [ad]
