This is a full view of a spotted dog who is sitting on a platform on the floor.

Image is clear with good contrast. Some light oxidation has occurred.

Image comes housed in full pressed paper case, which is in good condition.  Case is lined in gold colored velvet which has an embossed design. At the top center there is a small tear in the velvet.  Decorative brass mat surrounds the image. A piece of brown cloth tape covers the spine.

This ambrotype was part of a unique collection of images that featured animals.   [sm]
