This is a three-quarter sitting view of a young boy sitting in a chair. Next to him, on top of what appears to be a trunk, is a dog. Boy is wearing a fancy, dark colored jacket and trousers with a white shirt, cravat and hat.

Image is clear with very good contrast. Some light oxidation has occurred.

Image comes housed in a half pressed paper case, which is in good condition. Decorative brass mat surrounds the image.

This tintype was part of a unique collection of images that featured animals.    [sm]
