$250.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 1013-10

Image is a standing view of a young man leaning against a studio prop boulder and posed in front of a painted desert backdrop. He wears a wide brimmed slouch hat toward the back of his head, a bandanna around his neck and a shirt that is either cloth or a fine calfskin leather with fringe on the sleeves and breast pocket edge. He also wears leather chaps over his dark trousers. The chaps have fringe on the edges and lace up in front. Each thigh has a pocket with a long thin flap. Tucked into each side of the chaps at the waist are two Colt revolvers with the butts facing outward.

Image has good clarity and contrast and is clean. It comes housed in a paper frame with a faint stamping on the back that reads “JOHN (????) / PHOTOGRAPHER / 1887 18TH STREET / DENVER COLO.”

Great western image. [ad]
