This is a full standing view of a man holding a rifle with a young golden retriever lying in front of him.  Man is wearing a white shirt, dark colored trousers and vest with a hat. He appears to be standing outside, in front of a house.

Image is clear with good contrast. Some light oxidation has occurred.

Image comes housed in full pressed paper case, which is in good condition. Case is lined in faded coral colored velvet with an embossed design. Decorative brass mat surrounds the image. Case is split at the spine and most of the brown cover has worn off of the spine.

This tintype was part of a unique collection of images that featured animals.  [sm]
