Outdoor image is a sixth plate that lacks the brass mat, frame and case.
This charming group photos is of six children ranging in age from less than a year to nine or ten years old and they appear to be one brother and five sisters. The oldest girl sits at center and holds the youngest child on her lap. The youngest holds what looks to be a cat or a small dog. Next to her sits a young boy holding a pug dog on his lap.
The contrast is excellent but the clarity is off just a bit. Tin has clipped corners. [AD]
