This shell is in good condition. The body has some light rust in areas but also some of the original arsenal paint remains. There does not appear to be any major material loss and the pitting is light throughout. The fuse is a Confederate copper fuse adapter.
This shell was meant for use in the 12 pound Napoleon smoothbore.
