Diamond shaped Union 3rd Corps badge that meas. approx. 1.00 x 1.50 inches.
Face is discolored a bit from ground action and the reverse has the remains of the pin solder. Overall the item is in very nice condition.
Reverse has notation in regards to recovery
Item appears to have been made of sheet brass.
Though not well known, the Mine Run Campaign took place right after the Gettysburg Campaign and was one of the last for the 3rd Corps. [ad]
