This relic partial buckle is the “tongue” half of a two-piece buckle, with soldered disk attached. Disk has raised “CS”, which shows great definition. The brass is strong and has a nice brown patina with hints of green verdigris. This is a nice example of a classic Confederate buckle, even without the wreath portion. [SL]
