A nicely presented and attractive display of bullets and other items recovered around Culp’s Hill. Fifty-eight relics in total, mostly bullets, really illustrate how hard the fighting was in that area. There is a mix of Union and Confederate bullets. There are several “drops” but most are fired. And many of those fired rounds had a very severe impact with something! All bullets have a pleasing white patina. Additionally, there is a flat button, pewter spoon bowl, cap box finial, and a piece of Parrott fuse.
Recovered by an old-timer who lives locally and is personally known by the Smalls.
