This flag measures approximately 70 inches wide x 120 inches long. Features four large stars at the corners of a blue field, and thirty smaller stars that have been applied at the center in the design of a star. Stars were applied to both sides of flag. Flag appears to be both machine and hand- sewn. The colors have faded considerably and the white has yellowed. Flag is torn and tattered, which is typical of the age and use. There are holes of various sizes and much of the center red stripe has been torn off. Top corner of flag shows a hand-sewn pieced repair to the red stripe. A rope was sewn across the top of flag for hanging and displaying purposes.
This flag would be a great restoration project. [sm]
