Woven wool enlisted hat cord with 2-inch tassels. Originally meant for the Hardee/Jeff Davis hat, but was worn with just about any slouch hat, Union or Confederate. Yellow for Cavalry service. Slightly faded and shows some light soiling.  [jet]
