At top of the ribbon is a stamped brass frame that has a celluloid label at center with a full color GAR membership badge at center flanked by “GRAND ARMY OF THE REPUBLIC” in black ink. Reverse of the bar has the original pin.
Red ribbon with gold bullion tassels meas. approx. 5.75 inches long x 2.50 inches. Top of ribbon has a cloth US flag sewn to it. Gold lettering below it reads “TWENTY-FIFTH ANNUAL REUNION SOUTHERN ILLINOIS S. & S. R. A. -ANNA- SEPTEMBER 25, 6-7 1907.”
Lettering is a bit worn in some areas. Overall condition is excellent. [AD][PH:JET]
