This GAR uniform accoutrement is a large brass wreath set against a 2” x 2” piece of black velvet cloth. Cloth has a small, ½” high, brass numeral “1” pinned through it. The finely detailed, oak-leaf pattern wreath (2½”x 1½”) of stamped brass encircles the block-style digit ‘1’ numeral. Wreath retains all four brass pins to adhere to a cap. The “1”-in-wreath insignia is in excellent condition.
