Item Code: 150-258

American made US Model 1917 helmet with an OD painted exterior and heavy sand finish. Exterior shows little wear from age, use and storage. Helmet has no dents or rust spots.

Interior of helmet is very nice with the complete liner and leather chinstrap. One of the metal keepers connecting the chinstrap to the suspension system in the crown is missing causing the strap to hang loose on one end. Both chinstrap keepers are present and attached to the helmet with round rivets.

Very attractive helmet that would display well.  [ad]
