The .50 caliber steel ammunition can has side hinge and latch, with the early web strap. Color decent, letters and numbers are legible, hinge is good and latch works. Stamped in black on front, “CHEST, AMMUNITION / CAL. 50, M17 / D39091”. Measures 8” high x 12” wide x 6” deep.
Light surface dirt and rust are present. Great early war ammo can. [sm]
