The M1938 Mannlicher Carcano rifle used this style of bayonet. Spear-point blade is 7” long with flat back and single sharp edge. A central fuller is approximately 4 ¼” long. The muzzle ring on the front of the handle incorporates a release button on the left side. This button releases the blade so it can fold back under the handle. The wood grips are held in place by two screws. Pommel includes the locking button which still works perfect.
Scabbard is made of steel and features a narrow belt loop. Bayonet and scabbard both remain in excellent condition. [jet]
