Early Marine Officer Mamaluke with carved Ivory grip and eagle rivets to secure grip slabs. The blade is flat, engraved with a ships mast, Indian head, Federal Eagle, Stand of arms and scroll work. The blade is blued with gold decoration. The scabbard is iron with brass ring mounts, raised cast with grape and floral design. The throat is crescent shaped held with two screws. The drag is iron. The cross guard has smooth finials. The backstrap is decorated all the way around. [PH:L]
