This artillery tool is a steel chisel, with a wooden handle designed for cutting into the powder train in a Bormann time fuse. “US” is marked on the flat side of handle. Wood retains much of original finish with some scuffs but no cracks. Shaft is clean with no rust. Measures 5 ½” long.   [sm]
