This pack of 12-second artillery fuses originates from the Frankford Arsenal and was produced in 1863. The pack is constructed of a drilled wood block covered with a paper label. This paper covering is complete with cracks along bottom where fuses have pushed out. All five top tabs have been pulled open and then glued shut again; all tear strips remain. The paper is a nice blue color. All five fuses remain undisturbed inside. Nice clear printed label with instructions. Very displayable condition. [jet] [ph:L]
