This is a rebuilt round of canister. Made from excavated pieces.
Four tiers of iron canister balls are glued together and set between their proper canister plates; thin plate on top and thick plate on bottom. The reconstructed piece measures 4.45” tall x 3.35” in diameter.
Could be in a 6-pounder or Blakely Rifle.
