This is a typical iron cannon ball of the era. Hollow iron ball with Bormann time fuse. For 12-pounder "Napoleon" cannons. Fuse looks to have been punched around the 1.5 second mark. Fuse shows burn out and heavy ground wear. Iron body show moderate pitting.

This "dug" relic has been cleaned and coated. Drilled and safe.  [jet]  [ph:L]
