Original pack of 12-second time fuzes manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal in Philadelphia, PA during the Civil War.
Pack is constructed of a drilled wood block that holds five paper time fuses. Covered in a blue preprinted label that reads “Frankford Arsenal / 1863 / 12 Second Fuzes” with instructions on how to open the pack.
Paper has minor stains and multiple tears on top and bottom, otherwise good overall. Individual fuzes can be taken out on the package. Very good blue color and very displayable. [jet][ph:L]
