This is a tool for punching a hole in the powder bag through the cannon vent hole. Made of stout wire, it is 9.75” long overall with a 2” diameter loop handle at the top. The business end features a pointy threaded tip with a shallow channel running just over an inch up the stem from the point.

The piece is unmarked. Fine condition overall.
