Original pack of 5-second time fuzes manufactured at the Frankford Arsenal in Philadelphia, PA during the Civil War.
Pack is constructed of a drilled wood block that holds five paper time fuses. Covered in an orange preprinted label that reads “Frankford Arsenal / 1864 / 5 Second Fuzes” with instructions on how to open the pack. All cloth strips remain.
Paper has tears on bottom, otherwise good overall. Very good color and very displayable. [jet][ph:L]
Note: Requires shipment via UPS.
