Fine condition leather artillery fuse pouch. The leather of the outer flap is in sturdy condition with a mottled brown tone. The lower left corner shows a few crazing lines. The latch tab is stitched to the underside of the flap and is complete/unbroken. The interior flap is in excellent condition. It is complete with both ears and is boldly stamped “WATERTOWN / ARSENAL / 1865 / US”. The body of the box and the two belt loops on the back are also in fine shape and show no wear. Stitching is totally intact. The bottom of the box has a brass finial. A white generic description is penciled on the rear of the box.
