The full title of this work is “THE HISTORY OF THE FIGHTING FOURTEENTH PUBLISHED IN COMMEMORATION OF THE FIFTIETH SNNIVERSARY OF THE MUSTER OF THE REGIMENT INTO THE UNITED STATES SERVICE MAY 23, 1861” with an Introduction by James M. Madden and an added photo supplement of 42 photographs of members of the regiment, published by Butternut & Blue, Baltimore, Maryland in 1994 as part of their ARMY OF POTOMAC SERIES.

Book is hardbound with blue covers with the title in gold on the front cover and spine. Front cover and spine also have a full color 1st Division, 1st Corps badge. Covers are in very nice condition.

Volume meas. approx. 8.25 x 10.75 inches and runs 367 pages with roster. Interior is very clean. The 14th Brooklyn is well known for taking part in the assault on the railroad cut at Gettysburg on the morning of July 1, 1863.  [ad] [ph:L]
