Printed on glossy paper the book has numerous color photographs of Confederate bowie knives. This volume lists 13 different makers of Confederate bowie knives, discusses their use and covers knife terminology. Within the pages of the book are 24 knives known to be used by Confederate soldiers as well as many unidentified examples and relic examples.
