Volume’s full title is “GIVE IT TO THEM, JERSEY BLUES: A HISTORY OF THE 7TH REGIMENT, NEW JERSEY VETERAN VOLUNTEERS IN THE CIVIL WAR” by John Hayward and published by Longstreet House of Hightstown, New Jersey in 1998.

Hardcover meas. approx. 6.00 x 9.00 inches and runs 356 pages with index, roster and 113 illustrations and 28 maps.

Covers are blue cloth with fine conditioned dust jacket.

Interior is very clean.

The 7th New Jersey was raised in September of 1861 and served with 3rd and 2nd Corps of the Army of the Potomac. They saw action on the Peninsula, 2nd Bull Run, Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, Wilderness, Spotsylvania, North Anna, Cold Harbor, throughout the siege of Petersburg and the Appomattox Campaign. The regiment lost in killed, died of wounds and disease 13 officers and 247 enlisted men. [AD] [PH:L]
