This first edition volume covers the 17th Virginia Infantry and comes with a presentation page in front stating that this is copy no. 165 of 1000 printed. The page bears the signature of the author, Lee A. Wallace, Jr.

Volume meas. approx. 6.00 x 9.00 inches and runs 154 pages with roster and index. Publishing date is 1990.

Hardcover is gray cloth with the title and the great seal of the Confederacy embossed in gold on the front cover. Title and author repeated on the spine. Covers are excellent. A white paper dustjacket repeats the decoration on the cover. Jacket is in good condition but has a bit of surface dirt and foxing.

Binding is excellent. Page edges have yellowed some with age.    [ad] [ph:L]
