The full title of this volume is “THE KENTUCKY RIFLE; A TRUE AMERICAN HERITAGE IN PICTURE” by The Kentucky Rifle Association and published by Forte Group of Alexandria, Virginia in 1985.

The hardcover volume meas. approx. 9.00 x 12.00 inches and runs 110 pages with index.

The book is bound in black cloth with the title and a profile of a Kentucky rifle embossed in gold on the front cover with the title repeated on the spine. Paper dustjacket is in fair condition with a good bit of edge wear at top and bottom. There is chipping on each edge of the dustjacket and the back is missing a piece across the back top.

The volume itself is very nice. Binding is excellent and the interior is clean. There are many, many black & white photographs showing weapons of the period covered.  [ad] [ph:L]
