This volume is titled “HOOD’S TEXAS BRIGADE: A COMPENDIUM” by Colonel Harold B. Simpson and published by Hill Junior College Press in 1977.
Volume meas. approx. 6.00 x 9.50 inches and runs 614 pages with index.
Binding is good and the interior is mostly clean with some minor discolorations on the first few pages and minor foxing on the page edges. Book is hardbound in brown cloth covers with the title in gold on the spine. Cover also has an outline of the state of Texas with a Confederate flag all done in gold ink. Covers are slightly dirty from age and storage and need cleaned.
Dustjacket is present but shows wear on the creases with small chips on the upper and lower spine area.
This volume is a roster of Hood’s Brigade including officers and enlisted men. [ad] [ph:L]
