The title of this pamphlet is “BRITISH ARTILLERY AMMUNITION 1780” by Adrian B. Caruana and published by Museum Restoration Service of Bloomfield, Ontario, Canada in 1979.

Yellow heavy stock paper covers are decorated with period drawings of cannon tube and various kinds of ammunition. Covers are in very nice condition.

Volume meas. 8.50 x 11.00 inches and runs 50 pages. Binding is excellent and interior is clean. Subjects covered are Instructions to Officers, Proportions of Ammunition with several charts, A Table of Calibers, Concerning Case Shot, Sea Service Grape Shot and etc…

Booklet shows minor wear at corners.

Dean S. Thomas was known as a onetime Gettysburg Battlefield Guide and early relic hunter as well as the founder, owner, and operator of Thomas Publications. He was also the author of many books related to Civil War ammunition and projectiles. [ad][ph:L]
