The book is hardcover and is bound in black cloth with an illustrated dustjacket that is in excellent condition.
Volume meas. 9.50 x 11.50 inches and runs 319 pages with index. Binding is excellent and interior is clean. The book has 11 chapters covering steering, anchors and capstans, underwater protection, pumps, guns, gun distribution, gun equipment, accommodations, internal fittings, ship’s boats, and deck fittings. Volume is profusely illustrated with black and white photos and drawings.
