The full title of this volume is “ELEY CARTRIDGES: A HISTORY OF THE SILVERSMITHS AND AMMUNITION MANUFACTURERS” by C. W. Harding and published by Quiller Press of Wykey, Shrewsbury, England in 2006.
Volume is bound in red cloth with the title and author in gold on the spine. Covers are in excellent condition and wrapped in a printed dustjacket that is in very nice condition but does have a thin line of blue residue from something rubbing or leaning against it. This is minor and barely noticeable.
The title runs 192 pages with index and is profusely illustrated with both color and black & white photographs all the various types of ammunition and sites associated with the Eley Company. Book meas. approx. 8.25 x 10.75 inches. Binding is excellent. Interior is very clean.
Dean S. Thomas was known as a onetime Gettysburg Battlefield Guide and early relic hunter as well as the founder, owner, and operator of Thomas Publications. He was also the author of many books related to Civil War ammunition and projectiles. [ad] [ph:L]
