Two-tone paper covers with drawing of Crockett and his famous rifle “Betsy” on the front cover. Both the front and back covers are good. Inside front cover has a mailing envelope taped to it which contains a Polaroid snapshot of Crockett’s birthplace.
Volume meas. 8.50 x 11.00 inches and runs 64 pages. Binding is excellent and interior is clean. The book covers the life of David Crockett as well as his death at the Alamo. Numerous black & white and a few color photographs illustrate the work.
Dean S. Thomas was known as a onetime Gettysburg Battlefield Guide and early relic hunter as well as the founder, owner, and operator of Thomas Publications. He was also the author of many books related to Civil War ammunition and projectiles. [ad][ph:L]
