This first edition was written by Edward R. Crews and Timothy A. Parrish and was published in 1995. This book is number 623 of 1000 copies and is signed by the authors.
Volume meas. approx. 6.00 x 9.00 inches and runs 161 pages with roster, eight black and white photographs and several maps.
Hardcover is gray cloth with the title and the great seal of the Confederacy embossed in gold on the front cover. Title and author repeated on the spine. Covers are excellent.
Binding is excellent.
The 14th Virginia was organized on May 23, 1861 and served with the Army of Northern Virginia and in several different theaters of the war. They lost heavily at Seven Pines, Malvern Hill, Gettysburg, Chesters Station, Drewery’s Bluff and Five Forks. [ad][ph:L]
