An online biography of Mr. Foreman reads as follows:
“Harry E Foreman was one of Franklin Counties greatest assets when it came to recording its history. He put together a collection of local Franklin County History books with 7 different volumes. Conodoguinet Secrets of Horse Valley, North Mountain Shadows and Loudon Road History, Forbes Road Parnell's Knob to Burnt Cabins, History Of Little Cove, Conococheague Headwaters of Amberson Valley, Fort Loudon Sidelights, and Tuscarora, Kittochtinny, and North Mountain Tales. He has helped uncountable amounts of people with genealogy of Franklin County families. Mr. Foreman spent thousands of endless hours researching court house documents, speaking with local residents and covering the county on footpaths, trails, historical places and cemeteries making his books very reliable and accurate. If he isn't considered famous he should be. Without Harry E Foreman much of the information about our beautiful Franklin County and its people would have been lost forever.” [AD] [ph:L]
